Pharmaceutical Manufacturing IT Snr Consultant, Brussels 

We are recruiting for an experienced Manufacturing IT Consultant with experience in the Pharmaceutical and Biotech industries, for a role based in Brussels.

This is a contact role until the end of 2020 with a possibility of an extension.

Our client is a successful, global pharmaceutical company that over the years, have been highly successful in developing and delivering to market innovative medicines transforming patient’ lives across the world. They have manufacturing sites in Belgium, Switzerland as well as China and Japan.

In this role you will report directly to the Head of IT Manufacturing and under their strategic leadership you will develop, organize, set up and manage the strategic deployment of efficient IT processes and systems. You will ensure that manufacturing has the right systems and support across the business.

You will provide IT strategy and leadership, manage IT processes, program initiatives and business results of the domain. You will lead and develop the team of IT talents. You will have the opportunity to demonstrate leadership as well as develop tactical and strategic relationships in order to develop business improvement solutions and continuous improvement of the internal manufacturing systems.

Experience required for this role:

  • We require pharmaceutical manufacturing IT experience for this role as well as well as good understanding of the manufacturing processes and related data.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure and systems regarding the manufacturing applications (ERP, MES, BMS, DCS, EMS, QMS etc.).
  • Team work, team management and leadership skills are required. Good communication and negotiation skills. English and French are required.
  • Project Management skills in an international environment.
  • Interest in Robotics, Advanced Analytics and Digital Transformation will be an advantage.
