Project Manager Pharma - MSAT Subject matter expert

Big Pharma in Belgium/ Flemish region - COVID19 Project

Within the global supply branch - sterile injectable technology, we are looking for a highly experienced profile that will monitor the complete product life cycle of aseptic products. This also includes co-development, technical transfers, upscaling, process validation, registrations, and troubleshooting.

The person will be in a team of 8 people, each of whom has expertise. There is formulation, preparation, aseptic filling process and freeze drying. Because it is a global department you will come into contact with Procurement, Quality, GCMC, R&D, ...

Task package:

  • Being a subject matter expert and being able to give advice and offer solutions for problems that can be complex -> vaccinations / sterile injectable products / biologicals.
  • Assist with the complete documentation
  • Participation in co-development process, (phase 3 clinical supply) to commercialize and provide further product support
  • Using technical knowledge at a business level
  • Preparing, reviewing, and approving documents (protocols, reports, technical assessments, study plans)
  • Collaborate with other labs (Wet chemistry & analytical chemistry)
  • Maintaining monthly project updates
  • Risk analysis and discovering problems
  • Using DMAIC principles in daily work

Location : Belgium - Flemish region

Rate : up to 650 € per day

Contract : 6 Months + (extendable )

Skills required:

  • Being able to make functional decisions

  • Open to travel (5 to 25%) -> no need to move!
  • Academic model
  • Level Medior or senior
  • Min 5 years of work experience!!
  • Bachelor's degree min 7 years
  • Master min 5 years
  • towards Chemical, Mechanical, Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences
  • Experience in drug Product operations
  • Product support experience (trouble shooting, validations, optimization, technical profile)
  • cGMP trained
  • Technical writing
  • Experience with Engineering / Components / Freeze drying / Vaccines / Product development… is a plus
  • Experience with regulatory filing support can also be of added value
  • Project Management skills are obviously necessary
  • Achieving and mapping objectives for short- and long-term activities
  • Creative and innovative to find solutions
  • Experience at a drug product manufacturing site is a plus

Be present on the shop floor within production when necessary
