Job Details
We are currently partnered with a growing biotech organisation that are seeking an experienced DMPK scientist to lead projects for their organisation.
This will require you to act as a DMPK Project representative and interact with key opinion leaders to drive projects up to first in human studies. Be involved in design and analysis of in vitro ADME and in vivo PK studies with the use of modelling and simulation.
Responsibilities:
- To design and analyse in vitro ADME and in vivo PK studies.
- Oversee junior scientists conducting studies but also manage the outsourcing to CROs.
- Act as the DMPK project representative to provide results and communicate data to cross functional teams to progress the most suitable compounds.
- Work across many DMPK aspects such as ADME, in vitro to in vivo correlation and first in human dose prediction.
- Good understanding of regulatory guidelines and contribution to regulatory documents.
Requirements:
- PhD in scientific related discipline with 5 years industry experience.
- DMPK representative experience from early discovery through to FIH.
- Broad DMPK background across in vitro and in vivo studies.
- Modelling and simulation experience is desirable but not essential.
- Experience with a number of bioanalytical techniques.
