VP of HR

Location: Oxford

Our client, a phase 3 biotech in oxford, is planning substantial and exponential growth over the next couple of years. They are looking for a seasoned HR professional with experience leading and guiding leadership and pharma / biotech businesses during time of massive growth. Life science experience is essential, as are excellent communication skills at all levels.

Role Summary
Oversee HR operations for UK and US, including Compensation and Benefits, L&D, Talent Acquisition and internal communications
Ensure the quality and effectiveness of HR processes including performance management, talent review, succession planning, employee engagement, salary reviews, L&D initiatives etc.
Partner with leadership team and execs, coaching, mentoring, provide strategic counsel on all people matters
Design and execute HR strategy, strategise and collaborate across all sites, HR centres of excellence to build and shape people plans that deliver business goals
Successfully build an employer brand, increase retention and attraction to support accelerated growth
Build employee engagement initiatives, ensuring stability as the company grows
Provide HR change leadership and business partner to deliver major business objectives

Experience Required
Experience operating at VP, chief of, Board level is essential
Experience leading HR in a business that achieves 100% YOY headcount growth
Excellent communication skills, able to manage diverse personalities and viewpoints
Flexibility and being able to adapt to change, in a fast moving fast-changing environment
Excellent commercial acumen, heavily involved as an influencer of strategic decision making
Coaching and mentoring experience at chief of / board level
Comfortable with finances and numbers, ensure HR is tied to the business and can effect positive change
