Jr Quality Engineer

Hobson Prior are working with a top pharmaceutical organisation focused on enabling a better a life to patients by bringing affordable high-quality self-care products. Our client is looking for an individual with previous quality experience or someone with a passion for quality management looking to begin their career with this Junior Quality Engineer role.

Job Responsibilities:

Work collaboratively with manufacturing and packaging teams to ensure that issues are identified by the Quality Control Strategy.

Ensure early actions are taken to correct any issues before there is an adverse impact on product quality and provide input into deviation investigations and associated corrective action plans.

Required to provide technical expertise to enable the timely and effective execution of large capital expenditure projects.

Responsible for using structured problem solving and quality risk management tools to make risk-based, data-driven decisions.

Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify sustainable solutions.

Collaborating closely with the production team to support process improvements by reducing complexity and implementing quality by design.

In charge of generating technical reports, documenting investigations and actions taken, plus undertaking data analysis and trending for onward communication to the site management team.

Key Skills:

Ability to work under pressure.

Critical/Logical thinker.

Excellent written and verbal English.

Requirements:

Educated to a minimum of degree level in a relevant discipline.

Ideally have previous experience in a manufacturing or production background, a pharmaceutical background would be an advantage but is not essential.
