Position Overview

Due to continued growth, we're looking for a passionate, driven and customer-focused Recruiter to join our Global Talent Acquisition Team. Reporting to the Head of Talent Acquisition, you will be responsible for performing full life-cycle recruitment activities to support the hiring needs of the business. You will promote and represent Synteract at job fairs, social media, and other hiring channels. You will also operate as a true business partner and work closely with hiring managers to build effective sourcing strategies in order to identify the best talent for our organization.

Specific tasks would include:
  • Proactively source and identify active and passive candidates by utilizing the Company's ATS, LinkedIn, employee referrals, social media platforms, cold calling/direct recruitment, and other methods as appropriate
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand business needs, job requirements and the skill set(s) needed to be successful in order to develop and execute an appropriate sourcing strategy
  • Work in a consultative manner with hiring teams, supporting their ability to make the best hiring decisions possible
  • Develop and implement creative sourcing and recruiting strategies to expand talent portfolio and attract qualified candidates
  • Conduct thorough phone interviews to determine candidates' qualifications and role / company fit
  • Assess candidates hard and soft skills through a combination of behavioral interviews and competency-based evaluations
  • Coordinate and represent the Company at career fairs, trade shows, college campus recruiting, and other community networking and public relations opportunities
  • Lead efforts to build and maintain a quality pipeline by fostering long term relationships with candidates
  • Manage and update internal ATS with accuracy and integrity to ensure compliance with applicable hiring laws and regulations
  • Demonstrate recruiting process knowledge and the ability to stay abreast of recruitment and CRO industry trends and best practices
  • Supports and participates in team training efforts
  • Provide consistent communication and career guidance to candidates
  • Prepare recruiting and associated reports for management as needed
  • Prepare offer letters/employment contracts, confidentiality agreements and associated employment documents
  • Participate in / lead talent acquisition and HR special projects and initiatives
  • Deliver internal training on recruiting related topics as needed
  • Provide operational and technical guidance and direction to others as needed

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field of study
  • 3+ years' recruitment experience in a clinical research environment, preferably from another CRO are a must have
  • International / global recruiting experience with a demonstrated ability to effectively work across multiple time zones
  • Strong networking, candidate mining skills and client relationship skills
  • Successful track record of achieving recruiting goals and targets
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple efforts simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic and the ability to manage through change and work independently
  • Committed to excellence with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Resourceful, proactive and creative approach to work
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook as required.
