Brand Team Lead - Cardio-Renal - Surrey

Our client is a global specialty pharmaceuticals company. It aims to become the global leader in iron deficiency, nephrology and cardio-renal therapies. An exciting opportunity is now available for a strong pharmaceutical marketing professional to drive the development and be responsible for the implementation of the brand strategy for their key Cardio-Renal product which is currently in launch, in addition to managing a Senior Brand Manager.

In this position, you will report directly to the UK Marketing Director.

Based in their Surrey offices, your tasks and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:

*Lead the development of the five year strategic and annual operating plans
*Ensure there is a detailed understanding of market dynamics as well as patient, prescriber and payer attitudes
*Support the development of detailed patient driven product forecasts
*Ensure excellent communication and coordination of the marketing plans with the global brand team, UK cross-functional team and the UK Sales Force
*Successfully recruit and manage agencies that support the UK marketing efforts
*Work effectively with field based staff and provide high levels of responsiveness, including specific key thought leader responsibilities
*Provide strong leadership, direction and support for the marketing team

Your suitability for the role will be defined by:

*Experience in Marketing in the pharmaceutical industry including Hospital marketing roles
*Significant experience in development and implementing strategic and operational planning
*Good understanding of the structure and organisation of the NHS and experience with the NHS and Commissioning/Market Access process
*Experience in leading direct reports
*Experience in Cardiology or Nephrology is highly preferred

In addition, you have drive, ambition and are a leader who brings strong networking and stakeholder management skills which enable you to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
