Market Access Marketing Manager - Cardiometabolic - Field based

Our client is an extremely successful and growing pharmaceutical organisation who have achieved first-in-class and best-in class medicines and are committed to Research and Development. They have a focus within the Cardiovascular, Diabetes and Oncology markets where they have a strong future pipeline.

They now seek a talented individual to develop and deliver the Payer advocacy plan to optimise uptake of their leading anticoagulant product across health economies and identify opportunities to improve local guidance to support brand uptake.

You must harness all appropriate resources from within and outside the company to create a positive market access environment and work with high effectiveness within a matrix organisation to utilise skills and inputs throughout the business.

Key responsibilities include:

*Develop and execute the Payer advocacy plan and effectively orchestrate communication and alignment across the wider Brand Team.


*Create and execute the Payer marketing strategy to help get the product preferential listing at the local level, working closely with ABMs to help them deliver value messages.


*Provide creative solutions to access Payer customers: identify, develop and roll-out tactics and tools, including advertising, direct-to-payer activities and other value communications with local Payer messaging, to deliver direct marketing to medicines management and practice and interface pharmacists.


*Create market access marketing campaigns to ensure primary-care pull-through of the products' formulary status.


*Working closely with the Brand Team, translate NHS policy to local Payer and field force materials.


*Identify key Payers and ensure understanding of regional and local Payer networks.


*Work closely with key regional and local Payers to build relationships and build advocacy through developing and mobilising Payers. Set individual Payer objectives and directly manage the briefing of each Payer.


*Work collaboratively with Government Affairs to look for regional access opportunities to promote the optimal value to Payers to support local access.


Technical/Professional Knowledge:

*Prior experience in managing market access projects and skilled in developing innovative solutions to secure patient access to medicines.


*Experience in pharmaceutical marketing including new launch and life cycle management. Good knowledge of the digital channel.


*High level of understanding of the NHS long-term plan, and funding flows.


*Strong collaborator and able to build cross-functional networks across a complex business, with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal colleagues and Payers.


*Ability to work creatively in a fast-paced environment, maintaining flexibility with changing priorities to meeting demanding timelines.


*Strong organizational, planning, project management and logistics skills.
