You’re a highly experienced Medicinal Chemist with a good management track record, who loves helping to solve complex compound design and synthesis challenges.

We’re working with a rapidly-growing CRO that could be the home you’re looking for. Over the last four years, they’ve increased their headcount by more than 400%, and on the back of that have secured significant investment to drive their future plans.

The company provide support to customers in Medicinal Chemistry, Synthetic Chemistry and Process Chemistry, and their order book is a real mix of the most innovative companies in the UK, Europe and the US.

As a Group Leader in Medicinal Chemistry, you’ll lead and grow a team of experienced Synthetic & Medicinal Chemists, with an excellent reputation in the industry, to ensure world-class delivery for drug discovery projects of all types, and act as a key point of contact for customers across the world.

You’ll also be hands-on in project delivery, keeping your skills sharp and your customers (and team) happy.

This position is based in central Nottingham, requires an outstanding track record of delivering Medicinal and Synthetic Chemistry projects in the Pharmaceutical industry, and will be best suited to someone looking for the next step in their managerial career.
