You’re an experienced cell and molecular biologist. You got into drug discovery to identify and develop the medicines of tomorrow. You like novel problems that don’t have a defined solution, and you’d love to work on them for a company of seasoned experts.

We’re working with a cutting edge immunometabolism biotech company in Oxford whose fresh approach has the potential to tackle some of healthcare’s most challenging conditions, including cancer and autoimmune disorders.

Founded by recognised leaders in the field of immunology, extremely well-funded and with an experienced management team who bring a track record of taking compounds into the clinic and to the market, this is an ideal place to deliver cutting edge science that will impact the lives of millions.

Right now, they’re looking for a Senior or Principal Scientist to join their in vitro Biology team. You’ll be developing in vitro assays to enhance the company’s understanding of the biology of their targets and running complex screens to identify drug candidates. Your role will be crucial to advancing the groups various discovery programs.

You’ll also spend time identifying and perfecting new technologies and techniques to improve the quality of those programs, working on biomarker assays and collaborate with external CRO, academic and industry partners.

If you’re the right person for this role, you’ll be a biologist with extensive experience in small molecule drug discovery in a Biotech or Pharma company, have broad assay development and screening expertise and an excellent understanding of receptor or enzyme pharmacology.
