Position Purpose:
The role of the Key Account Managers is to ensure effective account management to deliver both access and uptake of the Respiratory Portfolio. The target audience is Population Led Decision Makers (PLDMs) and key Secondary Care customers within the local health economy. The Primary responsibility is the development and leadership of local key account plans that result in creating and/or maintaining optimal market access of the respiratory medicines, including re/positioning on local formularies and guidelines (where appropriate) within the local health economy and driving successful sales uptake.
Requirements:
·Expertise in Respiratory Disease Area
·Understands local and national healthcare policy
·Evidence of selling, negotiating and influencing through outstanding clinical and payer advocacy development.
·Evidence of strong outcomes through patient focused selling skills, negotiation, influencing and networking skills
·The capability to consistently and skilfully apply comprehensive knowledge (scientific, medical and technical) that provides value to customers and builds trust.
·Profiling (and regular updating of) key customers and accounts into currently available CRM system.
·Accurate and timely reporting of customer and business records, through CRM system, using agreed performance measures.
·Strong track record of gaining optimised access for the Respiratory Portfolio, by leveraging clinical and payer decision makers at all levels within the local health economy
·Ability to influence and negotiate with NHS customers both clinical and payer, to align brand strategy and meet NHS clinical and patient needs
·Identify and capture opportunities for business growth e.g. key account potential, new projects or added value services
·Evidence of prioritisation skills, account segmentation and collaboration, to deliver outcomes at local health economy level, which satisfy the business/and local territory need as per the localised Account Plan
