We currently have a vacancy for an HR Representative to support the UK & Ireland Country HR team during an 18 month period of high-volume workload.
Role responsibilities:
As an HR Representative with Agilent , you will be responsible for providing confident and dynamic operational HR support (including employee relations advice) to Agilent's UK and Ireland employee population and their managers. As well as working directly with employees, you will liaise with multiple Agilent departments including Talent Acquisition, HR Services / Payroll, Legal, Finance and Workplace Services to support people-focused activities and transactions.
- You will support ongoing HR projects as well as taking on responsibility for HR improvement initiatives and specific employee issues such as performance management and employee challenges.
- You will support our teams through policy/guideline interpretation, implementation of business events, acquisitions, business reorganisations and more.
Qualifications:
Desired experience / capabilities :
- Years of experience in a UK HR Generalist/Advisor role, supporting employees and managers with HR topics, dealing with employee relations issues and handling people aspects of business transformations.
- Good knowledge of UK employment law.
- Strong communication skills and ability to guide and influence stakeholders -- including remotely
- Ability to work autonomously, as well as being part of a dynamic, driven team in a high volume; fast-paced, rapidly changing, results-oriented international work environment.
- Experience working with HRIS systems.
- Experience of working in a matrix organisation beneficial.
- Knowledge of Irish employment law beneficial.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters Degree or University Degree or equivalent.
- CIPD qualification desirable.
