We are looking for a Formulation Scientist and thisrole involes the preparation of test substances for dilutions in liquid and dietary form and weighing capsules, providing complete documentary evidence of tasks performedat our site at Alconbury, Cambridgeshire.
As a Formulation Scientist at Covance your main responsibilities will be:
- Checking weighing's of test items in accordance with study paperwork and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
- Checking stages of formulations prepared by other staff
- Maintaining work schedules as appropriate
- Perform quality control reviews of study raw data prior to issue from Pharmacy
- All the above will be performed with minimal supervision
- To provide full training to new employees
This position would suit a graduate with some experience due to the training aspect of this role that would be provided
Education/Qualifications:
- \"A level\" Chemistry or equivalent
- Some laboratory experience would be useful
- Ideally to have some knowledge gained from working in a scientific laboratory
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Some related formulation experience or knowledge
