Location: Munich, Germany

Scope:
Manage a team of Field Clinical Specialists that support assigned products/activities within Professional Education
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Field Clinical Specialists responsible for on-site education activities related to Edwards devices and related procedures. Develop a robust talent development plan in alignment with functional growth strategies of the department including building and defining clear areas of responsibilities of the team
- Identify risk, develop and lead in the implementation of projects and strategic activities which may include negotiations with internal and external parties. _x000D_
- Create an automated tool to stream line the scheduling process
- Provide guidance and feedback to team members (e.g., training managers, field trainers) to define and lead the implementation of educational training plan across the region according to business priorities and customer needs
- Create and update of all reporting forms and gather insights from the field to support the reporting process. Ensure technical procedure details are accurately recorded in the system (e.g., SalesForce) and train team members on updates aligning with compliance and processes with Quality and regulatory teams.
- Act as an advisor and provide guidance to cross-functional, cross-regional teams on product launch implementations.
- Partner/interface with other regions and pre-commercial teams (e.g., Clinical Affairs) to ensure commercial/launch readiness
- Gather competitor information based on field activities and ensure all relevant insights are shared with R&D and Marketing department
- Other incidental duties: Attend and educate at conferences as needed
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in in related scientific (health care) field related experience Required
- Master's Degree or equivalent in in related field Preferred
Additional Skills:
- Demonstrated track record in people management required
- Experience working in a cardio vascular surgery preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related tools and systems
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills including high discretion/judgment in decision making
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives
- Fluent in English
- Expert understanding of cardiac surgery procedures while addressing issues with impact beyond own team based on knowledge of related disciplines
