Job Details

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Execute analytical tests for GMP and Process Development projects in the physical chemical laboratory and execute general QC activities.

 Execute testing for cGMP projects, development, validation, tech transfer and stability programs.

 Contribute towards the maintenance and continuous improvement of procedures, techniques and equipment used in the QC department.

 Perform data analysis and trending.

 Initiate laboratory investigations for OOS and change controls where necessary.

 Provide support and execute method trouble shooting.

 Ability to work independently in an organised manner to support operational activities in the QC laboratories adhering to the local HSE and quality guidelines.

 Adherence to data integrity principles at all times.

 Writing and completion of documents: analytical reports, data logging, method validation protocols and reports, change requests, non-conformances or deviations.

 Stock management of raw materials, controls and reference standards.

 Perform other relevant duties as required.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 Minimum of MSc or equivalent in immunology, biochemical engineering, biochemistry, biology or related discipline

 Solid experience in GMP pharmaceutical industry; CMO experience is a plus

 Must have strong experience in:

o HPLC and UPLC techniques using Empower software

o Capillary gel electrophoresis using the Beckman system with karat software/Empower

o Capillary isoelectric focusing using iCE instrument

 Relevant QC experience and knowledge of current analytical techniques

 Hands-on experience in method troubleshooting, carrying out laboratory investigations and deviation writing in a GMP setting.

 Hands- on experience in analytical method development of therapeutic biologics is a plus

 Strong sense of discipline, exceptional organization skills, excellent team orientation and hands-on approach to work

 Ability to work independently with proven experience in problem analysis/solving, anticipation and proactivity

 Ability to achieve and maintain high standards with meticulous attention to detail

 Autonomous, reactive and flexible to changing priorities

 Working with all members of staff to maintain and develop a positive progressive culture

 Fluent English both written and verbal; proficiency in French is highly desirable
