Our client specialises in conducting payer and KOL research to provide their clients with the insights and recommendations they need to develop the value strategy for their technologies and optimize revenues and are now looking for an exceptional Pricing & Market Access Senior Consultant to join their team to lead, & manage complex, global pricing & market access strategy projects.

You will be instrumental in driving the Pricing & Market Access service offering and capabilities within our client’s business and play a key role in the acquisition, planning and management of research projects across a wide range of therapeutic areas.

Key responsibilities:

Technical & Leadership

  • Leading Global Market Access and Pricing projects for key clients.
  • Line management of a growing consultancy team, nurturing new talent and developing a creative, motivated and effective team
  • Collection of insights from payers, KOL’s and stakeholders.
  • Providing high-level and innovative strategic input into product-specific market access strategies
  • Gap analyses of clients’ market access strategies and proposing solutions to bridge gaps
  • Conducting research into country P&R systems and recent HTA decisions to inform P&R strategy
  • Developing value propositions and value messages
  • Creating, developing and validating value and pricing frameworks
  • Monitoring policy trends shaping the market access environment
  • Translating research and evidence into insight and recommendations
  • Updating valuable research and evidence onto relevant company platforms to ensure that relevant platforms are enriched with the most up to date and relevant market data.

Business development:

  • Identify new business opportunities with new clients through responding to RFP’s developing proposals, sales and marketing collateral and develop existing clients through successfully managing and developing client relationships.

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ post grad experience in Market Access focused on strategic pricing & market access projects within a consultancy environment.
  • Postgraduate qualification in a relevant scientific discipline or one of the following (Health Economics, Health Technology Assessment, Medical Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, Econometrics)
  • Demonstrable ability to critically review and/or contribute to the development of the project plan, and to follow instructions to achieve project objectives
  • Demonstrable Project management, Line management & Business development experience.
  • Ability to work effectively in a close-knit team-oriented environment with the ambition and drive to grow and expand.
  • Ability to lead members of a project team, providing feedback on tasks completed, ensuring they deliver work of appropriate quality to agreed timelines.
  • Ability to provide appropriate line management to assigned members of the practice, providing feedback and ensuring training is provided as needed.
  • Good presentation and communication skills, including the ability to facilitate or participate in workshops and deliver training.
