With over a decade of experience specialising in evidence generation and synthesis, decision-analytic modelling and statistical analysis in economic evaluations for healthcare reimbursement & market access our client are now looking for an exceptional Patient-Centered Outcomes Scientist with an excellent understanding of global Healthcare Reimbursement processes to join their team.

We are looking for a professional with expertise in providing strategic and scientific guidance and oversight on projects relating to Patient Centred Outcomes to develop innovative and relevant evidence solutions to support global HEOR and market access requirements. 

You will drive the Patient Centered Outcomes service offering and capabilities within our clients business and play a key role in the acquisition, planning and management of research projects across a wide range of methodological and therapeutic areas.

Key Responsibilities.

Technical & leadership

  • Provide strategic and scientific guidance and oversight on projects relating to Patient Centred Outcomes and develop innovative and relevant evidence solutions.
  • Analysis, communication, and publication of impactful research to support client evidence needs/value propositions
  • Development and design of study protocols.
  • Developing and adapting instruments for completion by patients, caregivers and clinician
  • Conducting qualitative interviews with patients, caregivers, patient advocates and clinical key opinion leaders.
  • Actively drive and deliver qualitative and quantitative research and broader consultancy projects e.g. literature reviews, gap analyses, instrument selection, development and/or validation to meet industry clients’ Real World data needs
  • Provide regulatory guidance and support, including the development of evidence dossiers
  • Analysis, communication, and publication of impactful research to support client evidence needs/value propositions
  • Assessment and interpretation of relevant literature

Other Responsibilities:

  • Keep up to date with methodologies and guidelines (e.g. scientific, regulatory, and market access developments, both in terms of new methodology and new activities) and communicate findings to PCO groups as needed
  • Contribute to scientific literature in the form of manuscripts and publications when appropriate e.g. present at scientific conferences and/or publish in peer-reviewed journals

Business development:

  • This position will require you to take a very proactive lead in business development activities including proposal development and client relationship building in order to further develop the Patient Centered Outcomes service offering and capabilities of our client.

Essential requirements & qualifications.

  • Minimum Requirement: Doctoral, or Master's in Science, Health Services Research, Statistics, Psychometrics, Outcomes Research or closely related field
  • Minimum 5+ years post PhD or Master’s degree in the pharmaceutical industry, consultancy and/or academic experience in PCO research
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in health care consultancy, with demonstrated ability to communicate complex and strategic messages
  • Experienced with PCO/PRO requirements for regulatory and HTA/reimbursement agencies;
  • Technical competency in systematic reviews, quantitative and qualitative research
  • A track record of PCO-related scientific presentations and publications
