A client of RBW Consulting has assigned us to source professionals with extensive knowledge of UK HTA for a Head of HEOR role based out of their office in London.

The large global pharma with an extensive and exciting pipeline are looking for a Head of HEOR to lead their growing team of health economists.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the HEOR team in order that access to products are achieved for the UK through the development and delivery of UK HTA submission strategies and plans

• Lead the team to generate high quality deliverables for NICE, SMC & AWMSG (e.g. systematic literature reviews, indirect & mixed treatment comparisons, health economic models, submission dossiers)

• Driving positive interactions with UK HTA bodies and effectively representing the company at meetings

• Collaborate with Global and Regional teams to ensure that clinical development plans, HTA strategies/deliverables and pricing strategies take account of UK needs

• Manage and continue to develop an industry leading HEOR team

Skills Desired: 

• Degree in Economics, Health sciences or Pharmacy

 • Post-graduate qualification required in Health Economics, Statistics, Epidemiology or Health Policy

•  Significant experience working in health economics and/or outcomes research in the pharmaceutical industry

• Experience of mentoring and/or managing HEOR associates

• In depth understanding of UK HTA (NICE, SMC and AWMSG) processes
