Business Unit Director - UKIE, Nordics & ANZ - Highly Respected Pharma Company - Berkshire

Our client is a world leading independent, research-based pharmaceutical company with an ambition to be a leader in medical dermatology. They are foundation owned with a new focus on Bio-Dermatology, recently having launched a biologic for Psoriasis and soon launch one for Atopic Dermatitis.

Are you an innovative thinker with the commercial track record to drive the profitable performance of their strategic Bio-Dermatology portfolio?

We are looking for a candidate who has all the right skills, experience and vision to make an exceptional Business Unit Director.

Reporting to the VP, Cluster Europe North+, your main responsibilities will include:

-Drive the commercial success of Bio-Dermatology in UKIE and support all markets within Cluster North+
-Lead the Bio-Dermatology leadership team and cross functional teams in UKIE
-Accountable for overall portfolio performance in the UK affiliate
-As part of the Cluster Leadership Team, support the Nordic and ANZ affiliates
-Design, deliver and implement regional initiatives, together with the line management of delivery and development of team members
-Accountable for the Bio-Dermatology P&L for UKIE
-Accountable for Stakeholder management in UKIE
-Performance reporting, tracking and monitoring
-Motivating, recruiting/retaining and developing talent
-Self Development - constantly challenge yourself to be the best…

Profile:

-Significant proven ability in managing a business function at a senior level (Business Unit Director)
-Proven success at leading both sales and marketing functions
-Worked in Biologics or Speciality Care
-Demonstrable competence in sales management including proven ability to deliver sales through others
-In depth knowledge of both products and patient needs.
-Able to contribute to the direction of new products and technology-based opportunities in terms of products and services
-Budget and cost control
-Proficient in developing, communicating and deploying regional strategies and ensuring the effective implementation across markets
