Pricing Operations Analyst

My client’s success stems from the ideology that successful pricing dynamics and outcomes are fundamental to the commercial objectives and the complex pharmaceutical payer environment, Global Pricing is a critical function.This role requires technical pricing capabilities as well as overseeing governance, cadence, process, record and ensuring price compliance.

Essential Job responsibilities:

Implementing industry-leading approaches to address new product launch sequencing, indication sequencing, launch price targets, international reference pricing, price erosion impact and emerging markets pricing.

Support the introduction and use of analytical skills and processes (i.e databases, information sources, tracking mechanisms, KPI’s, templates and analytic platforms etc) to inform strategic decision making relating to the above

Work with Market Access & Pricing leads, providing robust analytics, to support the development and execution of value-enhancing price strategies across the portfolio including implementation of Patient Access Initiatives; evidence based pricing models; search for price-volume opportunities; develop novel pricing transactions

Execute and further develop the companys global pricing governance processes to ensure efficient and effective price decision making, including acting as secretariat to the GPC resulting in a robust, efficient and transparent decision making process.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, finance, marketing/business or related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical business which may include: Health outcomes, finance or operations planning related experience

Working knowledge of international reference pricing and tendering systems

Demonstrated expertise in developing and monitoring pricing approaches; experience with database and KPI management.
