Join our growing team and discover your extraordinary potential by working as a Covance Manager,SAS Programming. In this role you will line manage a group of highly skilled and talented programmers and be responsible for ensuring the group provides quality deliverables through appropriate training and resource scheduling. You will be responsible forPhase I oncology and Phase II studies.



Job Primary Functions
  • Manage and developdirect reports, ensuring staff are adequately trained and processes used in the production of SDTM, ADaM & TFLs are followed
  • To assist in the development and presentation of relevant training courses for SAS Programmers and other Operational Staff, as requested
  • To provide advice on both local and global Statistical Programming issues to project team members (internal and external to Covance) and help to resolve problems
  • Oversee resourcing, assigning staff to specific projects and ensuring timely completion of Statistical Programming deliverables
  • To prioritize and forward plan workload to a high standard; to advise Senior Management of significant problems promptly
  • Constantly look for ways to improve the efficiency and quality of work processes
  • Contributes to the development and implementation of SAS Programming business strategy
  • To provide advice and support for Business Development personnel regarding Time & Cost Estimates, as requested
Education/Qualifications:
  • University/college degree or equivalent
Experience:
  • Previous supervisory experience required
  • Previous experience of working as a SAS Programmer within clinical research essential
  • Good time management and organization skills, the ability to prioritize own work to meet tight deadlines while maintaining the highest standards of work
  • Effective communication skills; a co-operative and team orientated approach
  • You must be fluent in English language (both verbal and written)
