Our client is a specialist in medical waste management and is looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join the team on a 6-12 month contract.

ROLE/DESCRIPTION

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Supply Chain Manager to join a leading medical device company, specialising in waste management and hygiene products. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing processes and the overall direction for the supply chain. Experience negotiating contracts and improving the efficiency of the supply chain is essential in this role.

The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years background working within supply chain management, within medical devices or automotive. Fluent in Madeiran is preferred but not mandatory.

The role will initially start as a 6-12month contract but there is the opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business management or related studies
At least 10 years of experience in supply chain/inventory management
Proven track record in providing client services and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers
Experience in warehouse management and operation
Excellent interpersonal skills, positive attitude, and solutions-provider abilities
Ideally Mandarin speaking.
