Job Details

I am currently seeking a Senior Brand Manager to join a well-established pharmaceutical company based in Hemel Hempstead. The successful candidate will be responsible for the launch and development of marketing plans whilst supporting the oncology area.

 

Location: Hemel Hempstead 
Salary: Negotiable

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Based on robust market insights, support key strategic priorities for Europe and programmes targeting stakeholder segments
  • Collaborate closely with the cross-functional teams in Region and markets to contribute to the overall commercial launch plan based on robust market insights and ensure alignment. Assimilate front-line feedback and competitor responses into operational plans.
  • Ensure all internal and external launch materials are programmes are reviewed and approved in accordance with Europe standard operating procedures
  • Play a lead role in the training and roll out activity for the markets
  • Anticipate future trends in market dynamics, therapeutic approaches and healthcare professional needs, and ability to adapt strategies and plans accordingly
  • Oversee the development and implementation of the congress plan to ensure it is delivered effectively
  • Build high performing partnerships with European Medical Affairs team, Regulatory, Legal, Compliance, Finance, L&D, Strategic Planning
  • Actively collaborate with country management teams to build relationships, trust and two-way communication to ensure commitment and alignment to strategy and the allocation of resources
  • Promote the exchange of information and ideas globally throughout sales, marketing and medical functions
  • Form and led the European Marketing Project Team

 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree - completed studies in a life sciences degree
  • Experience in the PHARMACEUTICAL industry
  • Master or equivalent in Marketing
  • 3-5 years marketing experience, leading on at least one product launch, with experience in specialty care or rare disease
  • Oncology Marketing experience 
  • Proven ability to 'partner' successfully with broad cross-functional teams
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate confidently in English, another European language is a plus
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and executes their work in a practical and timely manner to achieve deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to create, track and manage a very detailed project plan, including the financial, budgetary and commercial evaluation processes
