Local Trial Manager

Location: Brussels, Belgium

TalentSource Life Sciences, the division of CROMSOURCE and dedicated to flexible staffing solutions, is currently recruiting for our client, a Top Pharma company involved in a wide range of therapeutic areas. The company is located in Brussels, but has a very good work at home culture to keep a good work-life balance. Our client offers now also a unique opportunity to Senior Clinical Research Associates to make a next step in their career development and is therefore looking for a Local Trial Manager.

Position Purpose

The Local Trial Manager acts as a subject matter expert on all start-up-related activities in the country/region, oversees and leads start-up activities in collaboration with other clinical research stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Study Start-up Coordination and Execution :
  • Coordinate guide and assist with all start up activities prior to site activation
  • Site Informed Consent Form (ICF) localisation and guidance
  • Ethics Committee information, meeting dates & costs
  • Applications, submissions in associated online systems
  • Contracts & Indemnity request process
  • Localise global Informed Consent Form (ICF) with country requirements
  • Review, analyse and collate metrics to ensure processes are in place that drive efficiency and reduction of timelines across start-up and contracts negotiation
  • Transfer of activities to the Clinical Research Associate of the CRO as of all start-up activities are closed
  • Oversight of the CRO activities
  • Coordinating all essential changes in the study that require amendment to the protocol


Qualifications
  • University Degree or Equivalent preferably in a medical/science-related field
  • Prior work experience as a clinical research associate, a minimum of 5 years of experience
  • Experience in start-up activities
  • Fluent in Dutch, French and English
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of ICH-GCP, the regulatory, ethics and contractual requirements for starting clinical trials in relevant country
  • Excellent communications skills in Dutch, French and English
  • Able to make effective decisions, self-motivated, assertive, and displays initiative
  • Demonstrated computer literacy, usage of MS Office software, web-based systems and databases.
  • Experience in oncology, immunology , CNS, diabetes, Cardiology
