We are looking to recruit for clinical pathology department in Harrogate a Data Management Associate for a 12 months' contract.



About the Job

In this position you will :
  • Carry out second entry demographics after the first stage has been completed by Sample Management and updating our system where necessary. To make sure that all relevant request forms are present and checked.
  • Accountable for all daily reporting activities including the authorisation, issuing, printing and sending of all reports.
  • Provide the necessary training of new members of staff in the reporting office and takes responsibility for training \u2018out of hours' staff regarding the reporting procedures.
  • To inform the clinic or external clients of any \u2018alert' results, and any confirmations required.
  • To assist Data Manager in any client audits.
  • To provide cover for the Data Manager when not in office.
  • Troubleshooting and general maintenance of current database
  • To work with department to implement any software upgrades required.
  • To learn study set-up for both Clinical and Toxicology studies as back up.
  • To assist with queries from both internal and external clients.
  • To be aware and understand the weekly schedules required for the CPS laboratory.
  • To be aware of study costing procedures.
  • To be fully trained in CPS/Global Archiving procedures and assist in process as and when required.

Your skills

To be successful in this positon you will have anexperience in other professional roles and also:


  • Adept with MS Office and MS Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of GLP/GCP and regulatory requirements is advantageous.
  • Understanding of CPS processes and procedures is desirable.
  • Working knowledge of LIMS system (e.g. ClinAxys II) and/or Tox Reporting is desirable.
  • An appreciation of what constitutes as excellent customer service is desirable.

Education/Qualifications:
No formal requirement. Training will be given.
Experience:
Years of experience in the job discipline

Adept with MS Office and MS Excel.
