Job Details

Hobson Prior are looking for a Global Marketing Manager to join a manufacturer in Watford who are determined to reduce global infections by offering the best pioneering solutions. As the Global Marketing Manager, you will develop and implement the company's growth strategy with the existing portfolio of surface care products.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the global positioning and messaging for the medical devices.
  • Directly support the UK, Australia and China sales teams, and indirectly support the international expansion ambitions outside the UK.
  • Create and gain agreement to the surface disinfection category 5-year strategic and 1-year budget plans.
  • Map out the key success factors for the organisation to win in Surface Care for the UK, China and Australia.
  • Supporting the brand internationally and report on results.
  • Develop a pipeline of new products, and new claims to support the growth of the surface disinfectant category. Delivering the new products to plan and budget.
  • Specifying the marketing and sales collateral to support new brand initiatives.
  • Engaging with all relevant stakeholders, (R&D, NPD, Communications, Sales, Logistics) make sure their input is captured and their deliverables clear.
  • Some international travel will be required.

  • Effective influencing skills to be able to connect positively at all levels of the business and achieve change without direct responsibility.

Requirements:

  • Proven successful marketing experience managing a brand for in products sold to hospitals.
  • Previously introduced a new marketing strategy for a new or existing product would be highly advantageous.
  • Appreciation of the NHS, healthcare, medical and regulatory environment is essential, ideally in both capital and consumable products.
  • Prior experience of planning and executing the international launch of a new product.
