Business Development Manager - Technology Solutions
I am currently partnered with a leading global, CRO who are looking for someone to be part of their Business Development Technology Solutions team. They are seeking an individual who is passionate about the value that the solutions bring and want to provide a quality service, end to end.
This role requires strong internal leadership and the ability to understand and transfer technical requirements to deliver solutions to our clients.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Achieve growth and revenue targets through the proactive shaping of the product offering and creation of client opportunities through effective networking and selling processes.
- Cultivate and nurture relationships to create new business opportunities
- Proactively seek to strengthen added value services and maximise upsell opportunities
- Expertly manage operational and product processes in line with market and customer needs, ensuring developments achieve competitive goals.
- Proactively strengthens in depth knowledge of products and their application within a client’s business, sharing best practice internally across Sales teams
Qualifications skills and experience required:
- Experience in a senior commercial position within the Life sciences sector, either on vendor or provider side
- Leading high value and long sales cycle information, technology or service sales
- Demonstrable success in identifying, developing, closing and delivering solution sales
- Well-developed knowledge in how to create successful relationships with internal cross-matrix operational, production, delivery and sales functions
- Rich experience of assessing and understanding market/ competitor situations and applying this intelligence to lead the budget and forecasting process.
Office based role in London with a requirement to travel according to the business’ needs.
