Business Development Manager
I am partnered with a global, forward thinking technology company who are looking for a hungry Business Developer to be part of their collaborative team. The individual will have a strong knowledge and experience within the technology sector and experience working in a Business Development position. My client is dedicated to providing solutions so that their customers can move ahead with confidence.
Responsibilities
- Generate new leads and manage the sales process, from start to finish.
- Manage assigned strategic and key account relationships individually or in coordination with a Global Business Developer and Account Manager counterpart.
- Close sales opportunities from within each of the different business units.
- Generate sales meetings and build business relationships within assigned accounts.
- Collect and prepare relevant information for the Contracts and Proposals Department and other internal departments.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree level or similar or appropriate experience.
- Experience of working in business development or similar position within the CRO, life science or other related regulated industry.
- Experience of selling capital equipment and services, pharmaceutical and biotech products, technology and related services or similar.
Professional Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues and clients.
- Ability to cultivate, understand and anticipate the needs of the customer and to provide effective solutions and recommendations.
You must be based in the UK and a wiliness to travel according to the needs of the business is essential.
