The Role:

A Data Manger intern is responsible for supporting a variety of study work under the supervision of a study supervisor. S/he will develop a variety of data management skills working on different study types in compliance with departmental SOP's and to GCP standards. Interns will learn aboutthe wide range of data management services we offer to clients including the design, collection and data analysis for all types of clinical trial data. Interns will work as part of a team and learn to plan their time to meet client timelines.



You will learn the following:
  • Gain an overview of Data Management processes within a clinical trial
  • Perform all data management tasks as appropriate to include, but not to be limited to:
  • Design and testing of the Electronic Data Capture (EDC) clinical database
  • Perform ongoing data review including query generation
  • Create and / or update all relevant data management documentation
  • Create study metrics and reports as requested by the study team

You'll undertake an Internship within Data Management over the course of 12 months,

Minimum Criteria:


  • Be studying for an Undergraduate degree inLife Sciences, Chemistry, Nursing, Data Scienceor similar.
  • A willingness to learn,
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team,
  • Great attention to detail,
  • Good communication skills

Education/Qualifications:
  • Working towards bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Nursing, Data Science or related field
Experience:
  • Has experience delivering multiple projects in an academic or professional setting to set deadlines
  • Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders and internal/external colleagues
  • Embraces diverse ways of thinking through various forms collaboration and partnership
