Job Details

Hobson Prior are currently seeking a Senior Manager - Market Access for a research-based biopharmaceutical company. Our client is very patient-focused, whose scientific research has benefitted hundreds of thousands of people by ensuring medications are available to those who could otherwise not afford them. This is for an 18 month contract role located in Uxbridge, London.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Complete a wide variety of activities in support of the Market Access Excellence area at EMEA Regional Headquarters, which covers Europe, Middle East and Australia.
  • Accountable for the governance, processes, and activities that go across all therapeutic area groups: operational pricing, publications, capabilities & training/development, payer engagement, etc.
  • Managing projects/tasks that require creating, gathering, reviewing, or analysing data impacting the EMEA organization.
  • Many of these tasks will require extensive relationship and collaboration with other functions (Commercial, Government Affairs, Medical Affairs, etc.) at different levels (EMEA HQ, WW HQ, and EMEA affiliates).

Key Skills:

  • Skilled in spoken and written in Spanish or Italian is a plus.
  • Demonstrated excellence in project management and effectively managing multiple projects and priorities.
  • Excellent analytical and organisation skills.
  • Ability to conduct analysis and use complex analytical tools.
  • Advanced verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to lead, interact with, resolve conflict, and drive consensus among a variety of audiences.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry or consulting.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related fields is required.
  • MBA or an advanced business degree is desirable.
  • Experience within a pricing function is desirable; previous experience with a Global Price Management system is preferred.
  • Experience in the following therapeutic area is preferred: HIV, Liver diseases, Oncology, and Inflammation.
  • In-depth knowledge and skill with SharePoint and MSFT Office.
  • Familiarity with marketing fundamentals, strategy, sales, commercial policies and practices.
