Scope of the role

Coordination and application of Bio-Analytical test methods for the characterisation of combination products according to the valid Quality Assurance Requirements and Industry Standards

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

• Assistance with the preparation of the documentation for the execution of the design verification and related documentation, such as deviation reports in the specified electronic system
• Independent planning, coordination, execution, evaluation and documentation of design verification tests
• Execution of visual and functional, especially force measurements of primary packaging or application systems on material testing equipment (including method development, preparation of test regulations, method transfer to other departments)
• Support for investigations and documentation on deviations in the GMP environment
• Assistance in the validation of test methods of application systems such as auto injectors for subcutaneous application
• Evaluation as well as GMP-compliant documentation of the activities including checking of the data and documents (four eyes principle). Statistically evaluate and visualise the generated data. Summarise and present reports, dossiers and publications in English.
• Preparation for archiving the documentation in the specified electronic systems according to defined processes
• Participation in and independent communication in local / global meetings and teleconferences (English and German)
• Close communication and collaboration with neighboring research and research functions development in Germany and locations in the USA
• Support for cooperation with external service providers
• Sample request, shipping and storage including required documentation
• Support for project-specific infrastructure deployment and qualification work

Education, Experience and Skills

• CTA or also Biology / Chemical laboratory technician with several years' professional experience or study of engineering or equivalent education (in the field of physics, pharmaceutical technology, packaging technology, biotechnology, process engineering, plastics technology, material sciences, materials testing)
• Independent and strong planning and coordination skills, implementation and management evaluation of the experiments as well as their documentation. Independent creation of reports and presentations in English
• Very good organisational skills, a systematic and consciencious way of working and a high level of degree of self-motivation
• Very good MS Office knowledge
• Very good English skills (spoken and written)
• Strong communication and team skills in an interdisciplinary environment
