The Opportunity

Due to continuing growth within our Medical Devices business, we are currently recruiting for a Operations Project Manager in the IVD team.

In this role you'll be integral to the operation of the IVD team, delivering critical work to leading edge medical device companies and will be a key point of contact to these companies. We're looking for you to bring your project management skills to help in the management and oversight of our technical review programme of work. In addition you will work with peers to develop and improve processes and ways of working to meet the needs of the growing business.

This role is based in our EMEA head office in Milton Keynes and the base of our Global Medical Device business stream.

As an Operations Project Manager you'll effectively manage multiple projects/clients within the IVD portfolio coordinating and monitoring delivery in line with business KPIs.

You'll be driving the project oversight, financials, critical success factors and customer satisfaction and will co-ordinate and manage the execution of planning and scheduling of technical projects with the IVD team.

Reporting to the Technical Team Manager and working closely with key stakeholders including the IVD team, Global Head, and Operations Director, this role will require a clear understanding of project management in the medical devices or life sciences industry.

About You

To be a successful Operations Project Manager you'll demonstrate proven project management skills and have a strong understanding of project management in the medical devices, life sciences, or at least the certification industry.

Within this role you'll be a key point of contact for our clients so customer focus is vital as long with experience in dealing with clients and key external and internal stakeholders. Some sales experience would be beneficial, especially in the field of quotations and package offering to clients.

You'll show an awareness of the commercial and regulatory environment in which BSI operates and knowledge of the European Regulatory systems.

In addition you'll also hold a BSc (or equivalent qualification) in a discipline relevant to medical device / life sciences.

We offer a highly competitive starting salary of £40,000 - £50,000.
