Social Media Director - Central London Office

Our client is one of the top 10 pharmaceutical companies in the world and a leading supplier to the NHS who is dedicated to improving patients' lives as well as strong internal culture of development for its own employees.

We have a fantastic and rare opportunity for a Social Media Director to join their Corporate Marketing & Communications team.

Reporting to their VP, Channels Strategy & Digital Content you will have three parts to your role:

1. Fully responsible for all global social media channels (initially Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube). This includes the strategy, management and performance of them. You will manage relevant resources, liaise with all relevant stakeholders and support the new strategy for Global channels.

2. Play a key part in the development of the overall social media approach for local markets, assisting with the creation of a governance framework and the implementation of tools and agencies.

3. Conduct training of social media for different groups of stakeholders, including the Corporate Brand & Communications team and local management teams.

We are looking for:
*Extensive experience of being a social media strategist for a multinational company
*Experience working in the pharmaceutical industry a distinct advantage, given the specific regulatory and legal framework in which such companies operate
*Must have used Social Studio to manage channels in a previous role
*Must have managed paid campaigns for social media, either directly or via a media agency
*Strong relationship-management and collaboration skills
*Experience of working in a global organization with varied cultures, with proven ability to work effectively at a central and local level
