Location: M4 Corridor, UK

Schedule: Full-time

CROMSOURCE is searching for an experienced Project Administrator to join one of our partner companies - a leading international biopharma along the M4 Corridor in the United Kingdom.

This opportunity is open to both employees and freelance applicants, and the successful candidate will be working on studies dedicated to one client. As a client-facing role, we are looking for confident candidates with the ability to work independently whilst establishing a high-trust environment with the client counter-parts.

Key accountabilities:

The Project Administrator will be responsible for performing routine administrative and clerical functions for the Department Head. This position will involve a high-level of contact both internally and externally and exposure to sensitive and confidential information requiring the use of tact, diplomacy, discretion and judgement.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative assistance to the Department's leadership team members
  • Give impetus to improve or optimise working methods and procedures within the global administrative group and actively disseminate information and best practices
  • Ensure the coordination of activities and work towards one unified approach with regards to administrative activities
  • Manage calendars
  • Organise business travel and accommodation for staff as needed
  • Support in expenses management
  • Arrange conferences and meetings as needed
  • Coordinate office space, equipment needs, catering, logistics and meeting rooms as needed
  • Order and dispense department and individual employee office supplies
  • Support multiple individuals with varying styles and requirements
  • Plan ahead on basis of the team calendar, pro-actively working on key activities
  • Set up, post and edit information on team sites/SharePoint
  • Provide Administrative support to the Training Team (logistical support)
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and is discreet concerning matters pertinent to the team
  • Support on boarding and training of new staff on company systems


Experience, Skills, Knowledge
  • Ability to support multiple individuals with varying styles; cooperate with a view on relationship building
  • Fluent in English, both written and oral
  • Excellent communication skills and effective working relationships
  • Attention to detail and solution orientated
  • Function as a team player
  • Able to motivate self and others
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Extremely organised, ability to work on tasks with conflicting priorities and work under pressure
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills to ensure effective and timely output in an independent way with final responsibility.
