In support of my client; a growing scientifically-driven Global CRO, I am recruiting for an experienced candidate who has experience in contracts.
The Contracts Specialist role will be based in the London head office and you will be joining the site payments and contract department. You will have the ability to Negotiate Sponsor-approved contracts and budget directly with sites in accordance to pre-agreed negotiation parameter.
Other responsibilities will include:
- Ensure contract language and budget change requests falling outside of agreed parameters
are addressed in a timely manner and effectively, involving the appropriate parties (e.g., Site
Budget & Contract Manager, Clinical Trial Manager) when requests require escalation - Manage the shipping, storage, and maintenance of study contracts, working directly with
Clinical Trial Assistants / Interns on administrative matters - Prepare original site and vendor contracts, including review against Sponsor and requirements
- Track, follow up on, and report on the status of documents relating to study contracts and
budgets, ensuring timelines are met and all relevant parties are notified of status / delays - Ensure contract and budget timelines are met and delays in execution dates are reported to
the Study Contract Lead in a timely manner - Act as Study Lead on allocated studies as assigned
- Independently interact with Sponsor, sites, vendors and team
- May be responsible for other projects and responsibilities as assigned
To be considered for this role you will need at least 2 years of industry experience in CRO or pharmaceutical company and preferably in clinical operation. You will also need broad knowledge of clinical trial conduct, specifically patient recruitment, tracking and projections.
