My client is one of the world's leading life sciences companies, providing a unique range of analytical testing services to clients across multiple industries.

For their R&D Team close to Munich they are looking as soon as possible for a Head of Research & Development (m/f/d).

About the role Head of Research & Development (m/f/d)

• Cooperation and further development of the R&D team with a focus on the company's strategic goals
• Responsible for the realization and successful completion of (customer) projects
• Prioritize projects according to importance and distribute the projects and tasks to your team
• Ensure the further development of production technology and processes
• Responsible for the qualification and validation of new products, processes, machines and equipment
• Ensure effective communication with all specialist departments to guarantee a successful collaboration

You

• have a masters degree in chemistry, biochemistry or similar ideally with a PhD.
• you have at least 3 years of professional experience in oligonucleotide synthesis, solid-phase DNA synthesis, or peptide synthesis.
• can already demonstrate initial experience in leading teams
• have relevant experience in project management, ideally also first knowledge in lean management
• are fluent in German and English
