Geneticist

We are working with a Client who specialises in Clinical Genetics, and is a world leader in diagnostic solutions for Genetic disease.

This international company is looking for experienced Clinical/ Human / Medical Geneticists to join their growing team.

What you will be doing..

• Novel Genetics research and contributing to ongoing projects,
• Collaborate, consult, and review genetic reports between multidisciplinary teams
• Generate insights into the improvement of current methods of genetic testing
• Participate in Bioinformatics analysis and medical reporting by validating new software/tools/ programmes which will improve diagnosis.
• Active engagement with sales and marketing teams

What will you need to bring to the role..

• Medical Doctor or Certified Geneticist qualifications
• In depth understanding of clinical diagnostic tools/ molecular testing
• Very good understanding of NGS technologies, and how to interpret results.
• Variant Classification experience preferred
• Experienced in reviewing reports and the integration of clinical data for the interpretation/reporting of genetic tests.

Essentials

• Will require you to be in the region, although flexible working opportunities offered.
• Excellent English Speaking and Writing (other languages advantageous)
• Medical Doctor or Certified Geneticist qualifications

Preferred

• Clinical genetic expertise in Oncology and/or Metabolism.
