Title: Associate Director Virology

Summary:

My client, an exceptional biotechnology company based within an hour from Zurich airport, surrounded by other life-science companies. They are well established, well-funded with a ground-breaking, platform technology which has been described by experts as 'The Next Monoclonal Antibody... but better'.

They currently have an urgent need for a talented Associate Director Virology to join on a permanent basis. In this role you will be in charge of developing the biology virology expertise within the organisation.

The Role:

• Manage outsourced pre-clinical virology activities
• Take led in the evaluation of new virology projects
• Strengthening the organisations virology expertise by ensuring constant follow up of the latest discovery in the field
• Taking ownership in building the virology team within the biology division
• Work closing with other department heads within the business to ensure optimal progress with virology projects

Requirements:

• You will come with either an MD, DVM or PhD in Virology
• Proven experience in drug development in regard to virology
• Strong understanding of disease biology
