The Client
Our client is an Australian Biotechnology success story transforming molecular diagnostics. Their proprietary molecular diagnostics platform technology provides hospitals and pathology laboratories the ability to screen for a wide array of diseases and infectious pathogens with a high degree of specificity and with rapid high throughput. The Opportunity

  • Provide training of their IVD technology in customer laboratories
  • Train customers in laboratory liquid handling automation and associated software
  • Writing and testing scripts for instrumentation platforms
  • Effective communication in translating issues and finding solutions to problems
  • Acting as a key contributor of customer feedback to the internal teams including R&D, QA & marketing.
Position Requirements
  • Experience in training & support of products/services/medical devices/instrumentation in the healthcare marketplace.
  • Minimum B.Sc. or equivalent, Masters/PhD an advantage
  • Experience in laboratory techniques: molecular biology, qPCR, IVD, assay development. ELISA
  • Experience in and understanding of the expectations of a commercial environment
  • Familiarity with molecular diagnostics an advantage
  • Outstanding problem solving and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and listening skills - must enjoy talking with people on the phone and in person
  • Excellent computer skills & desired in XAML, Visual Basic, and C++ scripting desirable
