The Opportunity
This is an opportunity to join the Bioanalytical department, working alongside other scientists you will support GMP assay and equipment qualification, technology transfer and stability study management to support the development of recombinant proteins and other biopharmaceuticals.
CSL Global Headquarters are moving to a new, state of the art building at 645 Elizabeth Street, North Melbourne. This role will start at our current Parkville location and transition to our new building.

Duties Include:
- Perform routine assays in support of process development activities
- Maintain laboratory quality systems and records of analytical results
- Present experimental data at departmental or project meetings
- Actively contribute to and / or lead technical discussions
- Transfer assays from / to global sites
- Review and approval of qualification plans, experimental data, analytical documents and reports
- Manage change controls and deviations
- Support equipment and software qualification / validation
- Supervision of staff as required
To be successful
- Tertiary Qualification in relevant field (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical)
- Understanding of operational and quality requirements for qualification and transfer of methods for early phase clinical trials
- Experience working in a GMP environment
- Experience of electronic systems within an analytical laboratory (ELN, instrument software)
- Experience of electronic quality systems (deviations / change management / LIMS / SAP)
- Motivated individual with a strong commitment to quality and time management
- Proactive, well organized and have strong interpersonal skills
- Experience of working across a global organisation would be well regarded
