The Senior Director, EHS Compliance Program is accountable for development, implementation and sustainment of Global EHS Compliance Systems across all CSL/Seqirus units. This person will be key in ensuring global compliance program alignment, and implementation. This role will lead EHS department functions within manufacturing, warehouses, laboratories and offices. This role will collaborate as part of the Global EHS team, reporting into a member of the EHS Global Leadership Team.

Responsibilities
- Develops and leads the implementation of the multi-year plan to ensure EHS compliance and continuous improvement.
- Ensure EHS compliance by building systems and programs that support our established permits, latest regulations, best practices, and corporate standards.
- Establishes appropriate internal controls and measurement systems to ensure environmental compliance and risk mitigation targets are met, areas of substandard performance are addressed and continuous improvement is achieved
- Interface with corporate EHS and site leadership teams to drive environmental compliance and performance. Ensures that sites are adequately supported relative to EHS compliance issues by providing on-site and remote technical expertise, communities of practice and access to resources.
- Analyze, summarize and communicate potential significant impacts to our businesses with regard to compliance. Continuously review governance plan and update plan in coordination with the EHSLT meet business needs. Identify, manage and assist in the resolution of compliance-related issues.
- Collects and analyzes data and supports EHS performance- related internal and external reports and communications
- Subject matter expert for CSL enterprise-level EHSl compliance management. providing on-site and/or remote support for eEHS Complaince matters including environmental permitting and regulatory compliance, environmental remediation, wastewater treatment plant design and operation, air pollution control permitting, environmental contamination abatement systems, capital projects, etc.
- Direct the continuous improvement of environmental aspects for air emissions, hazardous waste, hazardous chemicals, discharges of treated waste water. Oversee CSL's EHS Complianceperformance data collection, review, compilation, verification, and analysis
- Provide leadership and act as the subject matter expert when partnering with Global Engineering in the development of environmental and EHS compliance technical standards.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Bachelor degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Chemical Engineering or equivalent, advanced degree preferred and/or an MBA with at least 10 years of EHS or related experience in a biotech/pharmaceutical environment.
Experience Requirements
- Well versed in EHS management systems such as ISO 14001, 45001 and ISO 50001.
- 3+ years of demonstrated experience with the implementation and sustainment of environmental compliance a global scale.
- Experience with data analytics and/or operational excellence and continuous improvement practices preferred
