The Role:

Reporting to the Director - Financial Control you will support the preparation and analysis of various components of the financial statements and the reporting activities of the CSL Group accounts, working closely with all legal entities throughout the CSL Group. Working with teams throughout the globe the role is intended to develop the individual into a finance leader of the future in CSL. Over time the role will evolve with great opportunities to work in the wider CSL global finance team.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with preparation and filing of financial statements and reports for CSL Group and liaise with external auditors
  • Ensures reports and disclosures comply with the organisation's policies, professional standards and applicable statutory regulations
  • Assist in preparation of timely, accurate and meaningful reports and analysis from a month-end, forecast and budget perspective that communicates key highlights and business drivers
  • Research and advise on technical accounting and financial reporting issues
  • Maintain and monitor a master schedule of agreed audit controls recommendations and actions. Co-ordinate with the Finance Function in responding to audits

Qualifications and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting, Finance, or related discipline; MBA or other advanced degree in related field desirable. Professional certification (CA/CPA) required.
  • It is anticipated this role would have 3 - 5 years' experience in Finance roles, working across a range of sub-disciplines particularly Financial Accounting, Technical Accounting and Audit, preferably in a Big 4 audit firm, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing business or similar industry.
  • Sound technical accounting and influential skills, sound judgment, ability to execute globally integrated processes, strong organisational skills and analytical thinking, timely decision making and priority setting.
  • Maintains an external and strategic focus for self and team
