The Role:

In the role of Revenue Accountant, you will support the Senior Financial Accountant Team Lead to take responsibility for all aspects of revenue, rebates, and accounts receivable for Australia & New Zealand, ensuring that Takeda's policies and procedures are followed and that the accounting complies with appropriate GAAP and taxation laws including:
  • Reconciliation of Government and wholesaler rebates
  • Reconciliation and management of all accounts receivable from warehousing and distributors and all intercompany balances
  • Ensuring accuracy of financial data into SAP, including compliance with accounting standards
  • Management of cashflow and compliance to the global treasury policy
  • Assisting in General Ledger management (and month-end close process)
  • Assisting and supporting end of year external audit
  • Driving change and process improvement, leveraging digital solutions
  • Partnering closely with internal stakeholders to ensure optimal results

Skills and Experience:
  • Finance related University qualification required, CA or CPA qualification desirable
  • Familiarity with US GAAP and IFRS
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse problems and create solutions
  • Ability to influence and build relationships across an organisation
  • Strong technical accounting experience and high attention to detail
  • Proven ability to use initiative and drive to achieve results
