The Role:
In the role of Revenue Accountant, you will support the Senior Financial Accountant Team Lead to take responsibility for all aspects of revenue, rebates, and accounts receivable for Australia & New Zealand, ensuring that Takeda's policies and procedures are followed and that the accounting complies with appropriate GAAP and taxation laws including:
- Reconciliation of Government and wholesaler rebates
- Reconciliation and management of all accounts receivable from warehousing and distributors and all intercompany balances
- Ensuring accuracy of financial data into SAP, including compliance with accounting standards
- Management of cashflow and compliance to the global treasury policy
- Assisting in General Ledger management (and month-end close process)
- Assisting and supporting end of year external audit
- Driving change and process improvement, leveraging digital solutions
- Partnering closely with internal stakeholders to ensure optimal results
Skills and Experience:
- Finance related University qualification required, CA or CPA qualification desirable
- Familiarity with US GAAP and IFRS
- Demonstrated ability to analyse problems and create solutions
- Ability to influence and build relationships across an organisation
- Strong technical accounting experience and high attention to detail
- Proven ability to use initiative and drive to achieve results
