POSITION PURPOSE
Reporting directly to the New Zealand Sales Manager, the successful candidate will deliver an outstanding customer experience to our Healthcare Practitioner customers (HCPs) with the appropriate use of Lilly medicines. This role is a 'hybrid' position working across primary care and secondary settings - including hospitals private specialists, and general practice.
The successful candidate requires a high level of expertise in the Hospital and Primary Care environments. There is an expectation that expert technical knowledge of the therapeutic area (diabetes) is needed in order to be of value to decision-makers to ensure patient safety is paramount. A high-level skill set in account management is also critical to ensure resources are maximized within the geographic area (Auckland). Collaborating with colleagues across teams will be required in building the right networks and adding value to our customers.
Territory and Travel
The territory for this role is Auckland.
There may be some national travel required within New Zealand for conferences and meetings. Eli Lilly Head Office is in Sydney, Australia and there may also be times where travel will be required to Australia for business/training needs.

Prior Knowledge or Experience:
- Prior experienceanddemonstratedskills in a sales or accountmanagementrole are highly desirable
- Demonstratedability to usetechnologyeffectively to meetadministrative and compliance requirements
- Proven expertise in the diabetes therapy area is desirable
- Prior sales or territorymanagementexperiencein the pharmaceutical or medical industry is preferred
Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualification - at degree level in science,pharmacy,nursing, or business
