New Director of Technology at Centred Solutions
Centred Solutions, the UK market leader in innovative automated pharmacy solutions, has promoted Sam Lawrence to the position of Director of Technology as the company continues to build on its success with both pharmacy multiples and independents.
Sam Lawrence’s new role will see him become the key operations contact for the company’s customers and take responsibility for all technical decisions and direction, including software development, data management and engineering teams.

Since joining Centred Solutions in 2016, Sam has played a key role in the implementation and integration of the company’s automated pharmacy technology at large-scale regional hub operations around the country, with Warrington, Bristol and Ruislip currently key sites.
He has worked on the design of Centred Solutions class-leading Intelligent Prescription Processing (IPP) system for major sites as well as its development into a modular system that can deliver significant efficiency gains for smaller, independent pharmacy groups. The IPP-M uses much of the technology of its bigger brother but is scaled to work for pharmacies dealing with much lower prescription volumes.

Sam Lawrence moved from the USA to the UK to join Centered Solutions in 2016 having previously worked for CASI, the US manufacturer of state of the art automation systems for pharmacy and warehouse fulfilment. Aged 31, he is married and spends his free time travelling and playing golf.
