We all get nervous, but excessive nerves before an interview can mean the difference between a good interview and a bad one. So how can you minimise your interview nerves?

The key is preparation:

  • Know exactly where you're going & leave plenty of time to get there
  • Find out as much as you can about the organisation, and if possible, the individual who is interviewing you. Make notes in a notebook you can take with you
  • Know your CV (and everything it says) inside out. Have a copy to take with you.
  • Prepare some questions, and write them down in your notebook

Finally, If it's been a while since you did an interview, find someone to role play some interviews with you.
