How PharmiWeb has Grown
PharmiWeb has been on a huge journey since the launch of PharmiWeb.com in 1999. In this article, we round up some of our key milestones and achievements over the years, particularly since the launch of PharmiWeb.Jobs in 2019.
PharmiWeb.Jobs
In 2019, we launched PharmiWeb.Jobs - a new Life Sciences job board aimed at bringing together the best job opportunities in the industry. After quickly establishing PharmiWeb.Jobs as Europe’s largest Life Sciences job board, we have expanded our job board offering by launching three new affiliate sites:
These country-specific job boards provide jobseekers with a more targeted job search whilst helping Life Science recruiters find high-quality talent in their regions. With jobs from more than 32 countries currently being advertised and plenty planned for new affiliates in the future, we are now focusing our growth on a global scale.
Mobile Apps
In 2020, we launched our free mobile apps for iOS and Android to help jobseekers search on the go. These are really popular and ensure jobseekers are kept up to date with the latest opportunities.
Registered Jobseekers and CV Database
In 2020, we reached 200,000 registered jobseekers, and as of May 2022, this number has now surpassed 357,000. We also now have more than 60,000 active CVs in our ever-growing database, and this number is growing by hundreds each week
Live Jobs
The average number of live jobs on PharmiWeb.Jobs per week has doubled since our launch. In May 2022, we had an average of 5,300 jobs live from right across the Life Sciences industry. These cover a huge range of disciplines, and we are constantly developing our candidate attraction activities to ensure our database is full of qualified and experienced jobseekers with different specialities.
Jobseeker Emails
In 2019, we were sending around 80,000 job alert emails to candidates each week. In August 2021, this number reached 300,000 and is constantly growing. In total, we now send more than 2.5 million total emails to our registered jobseekers every month, keeping them informed of the latest opportunities in their discipline and/or location, and introducing them to recruiters and employers from across the industry.
Website Traffic
Our number of monthly page views has doubled since the launch of PharmiWeb.jobs, and this is only increasing with the expansion of our global audience.
Team Growth
To help with our global growth, we have expanded our team with three new team members, allowing us to develop our Marketing, Business Development and Account Management activities. We are putting more and more resources into developing our ever-growing talent pool and helping our clients attain the best ROI for their organisations.
