Gerhard Arnhofer joins Team ITG alongside Jase George to propel Life Sciences expansion
London, 15th March – Industry veterans Gerhard Arnhofer and Jase George have joined forces at Team ITG to spearhead the expansion of a dedicated Life Sciences division, leading high-impact technology transformation programs & marketing campaigns for major companies across the biopharma, medical devices & consumer care sectors including Bayer, Johnson & Johnson and Haleon.
Arnhofer joins as the Head of Customer Strategy for Team ITG’s Life Science division, with two decades of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, including Merck & Co. Inc., Bayer AG and most recently BioNTech SE, where he held the position of Senior Vice President of Customer Strategy, overseeing commercial activities within the Immunology, Oncology and Product & Services business units.
Team ITG’s Life Sciences division aims to support multi-national companies through technology transformation programs, particularly in the area of adopting an automation first mindset across the marketing operating model, in addition to supporting the creation and deployment of bespoke marketing campaigns for innovative pharmaceutical products using leading digital technologies.
Arnhofer joins Jase George, Managing Partner for Team ITG’s Life Science division, who has thirty years of experience across companies including Pfizer Inc., Merck & Co., Inc., Novartis AG & Bayer AG. Jase took over Team ITG’s Lifescience portfolio at Team ITG in 2021 and will lead the division’s growth strategy through the deployment of its proprietary Storyteq marketing collaboration and creative automation platform, in addition to its suite of professional services.
Inspired Thinking Group’s award-winning marketing technology platform Storyteq is already being used extensively to overhaul legacy MarTech across multiple industries, reducing the complexity of campaigns, automating planning, workflows and creative adaptation, and driving cost and time efficiencies so that clients can deliver personalised content at scale without dependency on expensive factory based offshore models.
Gerhard Arnhofer, Head of Customer Strategy for Life Sciences at Team ITG, said: “Automation is the key to unlocking unprecedented potential within the Lifescience industry. Commercial and Medical organisations will need to hyper-personalise their conversations with their customers, to explain complex treatment pathways, modes of action and patient challenges. You know my life’s mission is to create impact in healthcare – this is why I joined Team ITG as Storyteq will make a difference worldwide.”
James Masters, Marketing Content Management Product Director at Haleon, commented: “Storyteq from Team ITG has allowed us to create a joined-up user experience with its end-to-end product workflow, with the ability to house content and toolkits in an e-commerce experience. The visibility of content and connectivity to our workflow helps us to promote re-use of content and find operational efficiencies for the organisation. Today a content production brief may take 16 days to deliver – the aspiration and ability to get that down to 16 seconds, enabled by Storyteq’s automation engine, is a powerful notion.”
With these appointments, Team ITG expands its Life Sciences offering, delivering bespoke campaigns at scale in the Life Sciences sector through creative services and the Storyteq automation engine.
Jase George, Managing Partner at Team ITG comments: “The traditional agency model has not helped Life Science companies solve the problem of how to scale content supply chains for the post-Covid digital first world, in an affordable way. By bringing Storyteq to the Life Science industry we will automate the tedious, create compelling personalised messages at scale, streamline collaboration across content supply chains & deliver timely campaigns that create exceptional customer experiences, without breaking the bank.”
