Former International CEO agrees relationship with GAMA Healthcare

Senior FMCG leader, David Woodward, joins as Board Business Advisory Consultant and CEO Mentor, providing support to GAMA Healthcare through transformative growth period.

15 September 2020: Announced today, GAMA Healthcare, infection prevention and control specialist, has brought on David Woodward as Board Business Advisory Consultant and CEO Mentor. Currently, the company’s Clinell wipes are used by 9 out of 10 NHS hospitals and its products are used to help prevent infections in over 60 countries. Over the next 12 months, demand for infection prevention and control products and expertise will continue to grow. To meet this, GAMA Healthcare looks to rapidly expand it’s offering to the healthcare sector across the globe and diversify to service a breadth of other industry sectors.

Working with GAMA Healthcare from July 2020, international senior leader, David, has over 30 years’ experience including at John Lewis Partnership, Mars, Coca-Cola, Proctor and Gamble (P&G) and Heinz. He previously held the position of CEO of Heinz North America and Canada; an organisation with over $4 billion sales, $1 billion operating income, 8,500 employees and 27 factories. He is a graduate of Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Programme. In addition, he is a serving Magistrate, is actively involved in a number of Community Organisations and is a trained Care Navigator for Hospicare.

GAMA Healthcare looks to support this audience, who may be inexperienced in infection prevention and control, by expanding the availability of its products and education.
